The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit. Jn 3:8
The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes. Pr 21:1
I do not even know what to say about these two verses except that every time I read them I have deep stirrings of desire to know that kind of surrender to the Lord. Oh that I would be fully possessed by the Holy Spirit and know the deep things of Jesus, to become like Him. For a heart like a king that searches the mysteries of God out, Pr 25:2, positioning this heart in the hand of the Almighty. I love these two verses.
Oh Lord bring me into this heart of Yours. Do what only You can do. Fill me all in all. Make me Your instrument of worship, Your instrument of praise. Leave me not to myself. Deliver me from wickedness. You oh Lord are able to bring me forth in love, to keep me and present me pure and spotless. You are able and You are willing Jesus to purify me body, soul and spirit, to make me wholly Yours. I am not my own. I belong to You. You will present me blameless. You are my righteousness and outside of You I have nothing but filthy rags. Thank You Lord for Your interest in me. You being so far above desired me so that You came down to the lowly place where I dwell and You lifted me up to the glorious place where You are, seated with You in heavenly places. I love You.
